From the Broker

This listing is for a subscription and dropshipping business created in January 2016 in the apparel & accessories niche. The business sells monthly subscription boxes and apparel & accessories that are printed on demand. The subscription box items are curated by the seller and are related to a specific genre of music. The other print on demand products are primarily related to one specific group in the genre.

After doing some simple research on eBay, Amazon, and Google, the seller selects 4-6 products to go into the next subscription box. The item list gets sent to an agent in China that finds/purchases the items and sends them to a fulfillment center for shipping. The only physical inventory that the seller holds is the actual boxes themselves, which will be included in the sale of the business.

The seller uses social media and some paid advertising to drive traffic to the site. On a daily basis, the seller posts one post per day on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter along with 3 Instagram stories. The majority of the posts are related to the niche with 20% related to the business' products.

The Instagram account has 37K+ followers with 3-5K likes per post. The Facebook page has 16K likes with 50-300 likes per post. The Twitter page is the smallest of the three with 4.8K followers and 50-150 likes per tweet. About half of the site's traffic comes from Instagram, so this is the most important platform for the business.

An email list with 11K subscribers is also included in the sale. This isn't fully utilized. Emails are only sent every couple of months, so there is a great opportunity for the new owner to use this more.

* From February 2017 until October 2017, the seller removed the print on demand apparel & accessories aspect of the business from the site.

*We've decided to use a 10-month average of net profit for the valuation because we felt that a 12-month average did not accurately represent the current state of the business.
